That's why LIONTRON® LiFePO4 batteries!
Batteries for the highest demands
LIONTRON® LiFePO4 batteries are a full-fledged lead battery replacement with all the advantages of lithium iron phosphate technology.
The highest level of safety and long usability, even with regular deep discharges, are guaranteed here. The technology enables an extremely long cycle life, which makes these batteries the ideal traction battery.
The battery is suitable for replacing lead batteries such as AGM or gel one-to-one without having to change the charging or discharging structure. Due to the absolutely usable capacity, it replaces lead-acid batteries with twice the capacity in practice despite the extremely light construction.

Simply replace lead batteries
AGM and gel batteries can easily be replaced. Chargers and inverters can still be used.
Maximum lifespan
More than 3.000 charge and discharge cycles, even with regular deep discharge.
lightness
LiFePO4 batteries weigh 50% less than lead batteries with the same capacity.
Discharge up to 100% possible
Up to 15% higher capacity than stated.
Absolutely safe lithium technology
Lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4). No gases, no risk of explosion or fire. No cobalt.
Battery management system with bluetooth
Integrated Bluetooth monitoring and protection against incorrect use such as short circuit or deep discharge.
High discharge current
Without a voltage drop for heavy consumers such as coffee machines or air conditioning.
Fast efficient loading
Fast and efficient full charging possible in the shortest possible time.
LIONTRON® LiFePO4 batteries
Compared to lead batteries
Lithium batteries are cheaper than lead batteries when the cost over the period of use is considered.
A regular deep discharge of more than 50% is not recommended for lead-acid batteries, as the number of possible cycles drops disproportionately. A lithium battery, on the other hand, can be regularly discharged up to 90% without any problems, without the number of cycles suffering. A 100Ah lithium battery can therefore usually replace a 200Ah lead battery.
Lead batteries lose their capacity significantly after a maximum of 800 charging cycles. A LiFePO4 battery, on the other hand, masters 3.000 charging cycles without any problems and also offers good performance for the subsequent 7.000 cycles.
This means that a LIONTRON® lithium battery lasts at least as long as three lead-acid batteries, even with intensive use.
In terms of weight, a lithium battery is clearly preferable to a lead battery.
A typical 100Ah lead battery weighs around 32 kilograms. A lithium battery with the same capacity is just 14,5 kilograms. Thus the weight saving is more than 50%. If a 200Ah lead battery is replaced with a 100Ah lithium battery, the weight saving doubles again.
Always keep an eye on the battery status
Battery management system and Bluetooth monitoring
The battery management system (BMS) built into every battery ensures that the battery is protected against incorrect use. It switches the battery off in the event of undervoltage or overvoltage, for example, and automatically switches it on again as soon as the problem is resolved.
Thanks to the integrated Bluetooth interface, the battery status can be conveniently monitored at any time via smartphone or tablet (Android or Apple iOS). There is no need for complex cabled battery monitors.
Simple service.
Sustainable. Saving resources
With our lithium batteries, we rely on a consistently modular design.
With our lithium batteries, we rely on a consistently modular design.
The housing is not glued and can be opened quickly and easily for service purposes by loosening four screws. The individual components such as cells, battery management system (BMS) or Bluetooth module are not soldered, but screwed. If necessary, defective components can be replaced without special tools. Functional components can be retained. That saves resources.
In order to enable our customers to use the product well beyond the guarantee period, we have voluntarily committed ourselves to keep each spare part available for at least another 10 years after production has been discontinued. This means that inexpensive repairs are possible even after the warranty period.
In contrast to other lithium technologies, neither cobalt, nickel, cadmium nor other environmentally harmful heavy metals are used in cell production. Especially when it comes to recycling, the lithium iron phosphate technology scores over other material combinations. All metals used can be recycled up to 100% and no toxic heavy metals are emitted into the environment.

Exchange BMS tutorial
We use a completely modular design for our LIONTRON® batteries. They can be opened quickly and easily by loosening four screws.
This enables inexpensive repairs and the replacement of individual components. In this video we show how the battery management system (BMS) can be replaced in a few minutes.

Usable down to -30 ° C
Melts the ice
The new LIONTRON® LX Arctic is the first LiFePO4 battery that can even be used in arctic temperatures down to -30 ° C. Other lithium batteries usually stop operating at 0 ° C.
The system consists of two energy-efficient heating elements controlled fully automatically by the Battery Management System (BMS), which keep the cell temperature above freezing point through the charging current to enable the battery to be used even under extreme conditions.
This makes the LIONTRON® LX Arctic the ideal choice for traveling in cooler climates or for installing the battery in the unheated part of the vehicle, for example in the battery compartment.
The Arctic Upgrade is available for all LIONTRON® LX models with a capacity of 100Ah or more.
